Prof. Shamnad Basheer Center For First Generation Lawyers- (SBCFGL)
To assist the first generation lawyers primarily from the marginalized background with certificate courses and competitions.
Late Prof. (Dr.) Shamnad Basheer has been a beacon in the legal fraternity, leading the path for underprivileged and marginalized communities through his initiative IDIA. His inspiring legacy in bringing change to the Intellectual Property Rights regime in India, alongside his belief in public interest litigation, has brought numerous changes to the legal landscape.
In his honour, we at Kshitizz, hope to continue the change he was catalyst to by creating a centre to assist first-generation lawyers primarily from marginalized and underprivileged communities. Under this project, we also hope to provide legal education to aspiring first-generation law students from marginalized backgrounds.

Access to Justice (A2J) - A legal aid clinic for the victims of domestic violence
Inspired by the exceptional LL.M. Programme run by the School of Law, Rights and Constitutional Governance, TISS, Mumbai "Access to Justice" A2J is our initiative to support victims of domestic violence. A2J is our project to create a free legal aid clinic to support victims of domestic violence and to organize awareness sessions on domestic violence. Domestic violence is a plague that breaks spirits, bodies, and families. Knowing options and ways to escape this situation can truly do wonders in helping people leave such situations. That is the aim of A2J.
Project Nangelli
Nangelli, an inspiring figure, emerges as a symbol of defiance against caste oppression, patriarchy, and marginalization. Her indomitable spirit and courage reverberate throughout history, as she challenges societal norms and fights for justice. By breaking the shackles of caste discrimination and daring to question the patriarchal norms, Nangelli embodies the strength of marginalized voices, empowering others to resist oppression. Her legacy serves as a beacon of hope, urging us to dismantle the barriers that inhibit social progress and equality.
In her honour, we at Kshitizz, embrace the collective responsibility to create a world where every woman thrives, irrespective of their background, by launching the Project Nangelli. Under this project, we intend to launch a centre for imparting training in computer operations and, stitching & embroidery to women. They will also receive a sewing machine and a certificate, upon completion of the training programme.
Feed De Penguin - A project on Waste Management and Center for Environment
Our ice caps are melting. Polar bears and penguins losing food. Simply due to the carelessness of the industrial age. Feed De Penguin aims to revolutionize existing waste removal systems to make them waste management systems and promote an eco-friendly solution of harmony between nature and man-made systems. Under this project we also aim to form more ecological solutions to support healing the environment.
Project Rangmanch -An initiative to support and promote artists & artistes
Art is far too important to not be shared and is the essence of human existence. Project Rangmanch aims to make the world just a little more colourful, brighter or more melodious by giving an opportunity and support to marginalised and underprivileged talented artists. This project supports all forms of art and hopes to provide a platform to all artists struggling to help them create their art with a few less worries
Project Dhanvantari -
(A Centre for Health and Counseling)
Named after the physician of the devas, Project Dhanvantari is a centre for health and counselling. Under this project, we aim to create a virtual blood bank and organize free medical camps. Alongside this, we also wish to focus on period poverty by distributing free sanitary pads and provide counselling to victims of domestic violence.
*We are adopting Bondavanipalem village to work on period poverty.
